Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop the manual billing transactions of Bacolod Diagnostic Center and to evaluate the effectiveness of the computerized Billing and Medical Records System. The proposed system will enable the user to easily retrieve past medical records of teh patients, computerize the maual biolling process, organize patients's record and generate monthly billing reports. the Computerized Billing and Medical Records System enhnced the billing transactions of the company including automatic calculation of bills and fast issuing of receipts. the system also secures patients' information such as name, address, contact number and medical results. This study is developed to create a better system that will serve as a more consistent tool in keeping and retrieving records of the patients.

The proponents gathered necessary data that will help in the progress of enhancing the manual process of the existing system. the Kendall and Kendall method has been used in developing the proposed system. Through this study, the user will minimize the time and effort in dealing with the billing transactions of the company. The study primarily focused in developing a computerized system that will solve the problems of Bacolod Diagnostic Center. Data were gatherd with the help of the researches and interviews that the proponents conducted. One of the major problems of Bacolod Diagnostic Center is the difficulty in tracking and retrieving past medical records of their patients. The company also finds it time consuming and error-prone due to manual billing process it uses in their billing transactions. after hearing these problems, the proponents came up with a solution, and that is to create a Computerized Billing and Medical Record System. One of the features of the system is the automatic calculation of bills. Using the system the user can easily find and retreive past medical records of patients. With this system, the company would lessen workloads especially in searching patients record from files and folders that are kept in the office. Thus, the computerized Billing and Medical Record System will be very useful and helpful to the company currently for teh years to come.
