Abstract
This study Focuses on the development of the Online Lot Reservation and House Inquiry System for Dynamic Properties and Realty Corporation. It aims to address the problems encountered by the company in terms of their reservation process like manual input of data resulting to a lot of paper works, difficulty in editing and deleting of information and errors, a lot of time and effort is spent in organizing or searching of records, lack of information between the customer and the company that result to failure of transaction, authorized person of the customer living outside Bacolod or abroad lack documents needed for the reservation process and lack of functionality in web presence. This intends to raise solutions for the stated problems for achieving the following objectives. To create an automated system that will minimize paper works and errors, to save time and effort in record keeping through the system's database, to develop a system that will provide enough information and will serves as an interface between the company and the customer for the for the success of the transaction, to develop a system that will allow customers to easily attach their requirements in digitized form and to provide the company a web presence that has the functionalities suited to their needs as well to the customers.
The proponents identified and solve the problems using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) by Kendall and Kendall. The proponents did interviews and data collection as methods of investigation. Through step by step research and study, it was found out that the Online Lot Reservation and House Inquiry System would bring benefits to the company.
Another step to assess the functionality of the system is by administering an evaluation tool to the users. there are five respondents to this evaluation and the Likert survey was selected questionnaire type as this enables the respondents to answer the survey easily. In addition, this research instrument allowed the research to carry out the quantitative approach effectively with the use of statistics for data interpretation. After the respondents have answered the evaluation tool , the results are tabulated and it was found out that the users have positive response with the Online Lot Reservation and House Inquiry System with mostly "very high" and "high"interpretations on the rate given by the respondents and has an average mean of 4.53 which means a "very high" rate. In general, problems had been well identified and effective solutions were achieved by the proponents, reasons for the positive outcome of the study. It is then concluded that the system would let a convenient way of reservation and inquiry for both customers and the management has satisfactorily addressed and minimized the problems encountered in the current manual reservation and inquiry process. With proper orientation and training of users, it is therefore recommended that the Online Lot Reservation and House Inquiry System be implemented by the company to widen the scope of their market and increase profitability.
