Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a Computerized Point of Sale System for IronMan 4x4 Philippines, Inc. The said system will ensure the Point of Sale transactions be reliable, accurate, faster and secure.The computerized system will use MS Access 2007 applications as a back end and Visual 6.0 as a front end.The proponents have identified the common problems encountered by the company in manual way, such as the inaccurate results of computing customer's purchases, the lack of storage for important records and the checking of available product in a sheet of paper is time consuming.The Point of sale system will provide a solution to the problems encountered by the company. The said system will deliver accurate results for computing customer's purchases; generate reports such as the daily sales, received products and products quantity sold. The cashier or the authorized user will benefit this system.The proponents consider and discuss the problems and possible solutions using manual system and automate it to help make transactions easier, faster and accurate.After the problems had been identified the proponents came up with the proposal of Computerized Point of Sale Sytem for a faster, accurate and a secure way of transacting Point of Sale for IronMan 4x4 Philippines, Inc.
